The WaR Agency’s campaign for Carphone Warehouse involved both an interactive fitness themed influencer event titled “#ReloadWithHuawei” and a commercial partnership producing dedicated sponsored content for the Huawei Mate S. WaR collaborated with a top-tier fashion and fitness influencer to create content promoting the Huawei Mate S, positioning Carphone Warehouse as the destination for technology to suit the target audience’s lifestyle needs. WaR’s event for Carphone Warehouse created a unique and exciting experience for key digital influencers. The event consisted of a fitness class hosted by a leading fitness instructor. Influencers were gifted the Huawei Mate S ahead of the event and were actively taking photos to post on their social media channels during the event. This approach allowed Carphone Warehouse and Huawei to naturally engage with a number of influencers through a fun, PR based event, resulting in online coverage whilst also achieving strong dedicated brand content through the commercial partnership.
